WARRANTY

At Cariboo, we design products that are high quality and extremely durable. We pride ourselves on putting our products through rigorous testing and meeting industry and country standards, therefore we support our customers should an issue arise.

Limited Warranty

All Cariboo products purchased directly are guaranteed for three years from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship. If purchased from a retail partner you can register for a third year. If we determine that the product has a manufacturing fault, we will repair or replace it free of charge to you. The decision to repair or replace is solely at the discretion of Cariboo. Proof of purchase must be provided. The warranty is “return to base" and not a free in-home service. This means the customer is responsible for any inwards freight charge to return the product to a Cariboo representative for warranty or service.

Exclusions

Our manufacturing warranty excludes claims resulting from misuse, abnormal use, overloading, general wear and tear, child outgrowing product, not following instructions, transportation damage (including airline or freight damage), poorly maintained product, dropped goods, negligence, second-hand product, modified product, colour fading, tyre over inflation, mould, fabric cuts and tears.

Any replacement will not give the right for the warranty period to be extended.
Cariboo does not cover warranty if the product has been purchased second-hand or from an unauthorised reseller. 

Damage from improper cleaning, exposure to harsh weather, or modifications are not covered.

Possible remedies (as determined by Cariboo):

At home repair (1) – where possible, we will provide instructions for you to resolve the issue at home. Replacement part – where (1) is not possible, we will determine if we can send you a replacement part to resolve the issue at home.  There may also be a charge for repair and parts. 

Return to base repair – where (1) or (2) is not possible, we may need to get the product back to our nearest repair centre for inspection and repair. If you are located within the city metro area of our nearest repair centre, we will arrange an appointment for you to bring the product into the repair centre. If you do not live in the city metro area of a repair centre, we can arrange a courier pickup. The costs of the courier will be paid by us, if after inspection, we determine the issue is covered under the warranty policy. Where we determine the issue is not covered by the warranty policy, we will charge you the freight cost (including both inbound and outbound) before the product is returned. There may also be a charge for repair and parts. An approximate quote can be provided beforehand.
